Göteborg & Co AB is the parent company for the companies within the Tourism, Culture and Events cluster, and as such, it is responsible for leading and coordinating the work within its own group. The purpose of Gothenburg City with respect to the company is to, at a strategic level, lead and coordinate the work within the group and to contribute to strengthening and developing the tourism industry in Gothenburg and the Gothenburg region, as well as contributing to the development of the tourism industry in the Västra Götaland region. The company's objective is not to generate profit for the shareholders.
